Baby food is good for upset doggie stomachs — over rice or just a few spoonfuls every half hour for really upset dogs. "Turkey Vegetable" or whatever. But three days of vomiting doesn’t sound good. I’d get him to the vet right away like the other posters suggest. Nigel had a similar problem a couple years ago. IIRC, the vet told me to not feed him for three days. I don’t think he got meds, but he was checked over … temp, eyes, heart sounds, etc. Q
Response:
Forget worrying about what to feed him and get him to a vet. The dog is sick. Jo Wolf

Something is going on for your dog to be vomiting for 3 straight days. He needs to be checked by a vet and I wouldn’t wait another day. You might want to take a stool sample with you as well. Colleen McQuaid<=====not a VET
Response:
You might start by giving him smaller meals of rice and chicken. Several small meals a day rather than one large meal. Does he have diarhea also? Do you think he might have eaten something that caused an obstruction in his gut? This could be serious, if it was my dog I would go to a vet.

Good morning, all, I am looking for some advice for all of you experienced dog owners out there. For the past 3 days my 5-year old beagle has been vomiting everything that he has eaten. I have noticed that there are rabbit droppings in it. This doesn’t surprise me in the least – we have rabbit problems in the yard every summer. I gave him a huge bowl of rice last night and he was able to keep that down. But, this morning, when he ate a bowl of his regular food, he vomited in 3 different places. He is a little dog, and he is getting no nutrition at all. Now, I have concerns. Would a bland diet of chicken and rice for a week or so solve at least the vomiting issue? Should I take him to the vet to get him checked out? Is the vomiting an indication of a more serious problem? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jennifer
