Help…….again
Question:
It very simple he is marking his house, you no longer own it he does. Do you let him on the furniture? do you play when he wants? do you feed him inside before you? does he sleep on your bed? yes to any of the above and you have a problem, time to take control and decide when your dog does stuff…Alpha — Treat your dog like a dog

None of these things is intrinsically wrong so long as the dog moves/plays and eats at your discretion. If the dog is pushing you around, restriction of the above can be effective. But lots of perfectly well adjusted and submissive pets doze on furniture, eat before their owners, initiate playtimes, and sleep under the covers of the bed. kassa

It’s got to be a dominance thing. He actually had the nerve to growl at hubby last night when hubby told him to get out of the kitchen! Hubby lunged at him and wrestled him to the ground, then held him there, on his back. This dog is really starting to upset me!!! Guess I have to go back to the "I’m boss" routine (no getting on furniture, get fed last, go out the door last, etc.)…<sigh> Will this dog never learn? — Mali "You have the right to remain silent. Yes, he’s been neutered since he was 6 months old….six months old (to the day) and I had him in there yelling, "CUT THEM OFF!" hee hee Come now…….you think I have learned nothing from this newsgroup, or what? Put a belly band or an old pair of boxers on him. When he marks and gets himself all wet it will be a good incentive for him to stop doing it. — http://zuzubabies.com/members/td
