Question:

Thank you all very much for you input. I’ve forwarded pictures to ask "is this the one?" and so far the reply has been "no, that’s not right". So, before I bother you good folks further, I’m going to have to review the movie myself to see what he’s looking at. I saw enough marking variation in the Cattle Dog breed to think that maybe he just saw a particular color/pattern combination that he’s assuming is a different breed…maybe not though. Anyway, thanks again! Ken

It looked like a cattle dog Mix to me. If your friend is interested in cattledogs, I would suggest he visit www.cattledog.com He can find out everything about cattledogs there. There is also a VERY informative FAQ that he should read before he decides if he wants to look into getting that particular breed of dog.
