Lab eating elastic net

Question:

At about 7 AM yesterday, my 14 month old Labrador retriever ate the elastic netting from around a roasted chicken breast from the deli.   Have not seen or heard from the net since then.     When do you think I can stop worrying?  Is there anything I should look for as regards intestinal blockage?    My dog seems fine so far.             Thanks

Response:

Please contact your vet immediately!  It may take sometime for a problem to show up and by the time it does, it maybe too late for your poor pup.  Please, go to your vet and then let us know the outcome. Make sure you get to the vets asap. The net might pass but then again it might need help. Don’t take any chances. Let us know how it turns out.

Response:
