Sorry to sound critical,but how does a vet miss undescended testicles on a dog thats 11 years old?? I find that almost ludicrous.Good thing you changed vets. As far as whether you should get him neutered,I suppose you would have to weigh the risks.Is he healthy enough to be put under anesthesia…Although I have seen Yorkies live to the age of 17-18…this is not always the case…Talk to vet,get his full opinion about the risks.If needed get a second opinion. In your dogs case it may be silly to do it at this stage of his life.Guess it all depends on how you feel about it after knowing the risks. Good Luck, Rachel
